RECAP: Wukkout!® in the 2016 New York Caribbean Carnival

As many of you know, Wukkout!® had the pleasure of participating in the 2016 New York Caribbean Carnival in Brooklyn.  I wanted to extend a massive thank you to each and every one of you who jumped up with us that day.  You all truly brought the bacchanal to the Parkway!

I wanted to extend a few special thank yous: to our donors - this wouldn't have been possible without you - your support is truly appreciated.  To DJ G$Money - thank you for holding down the music and keeping us moving all day.  To Candice and your team of Carnival Queen Beauty make-up artists - thank you for making the day so special and beautifying us for the road.  To Filecellia - for everything and all that you do for Wukkout! - not just for the parade but every day.  Finally, to our sponsors - Belle + Bella, the Coney Island YMCA, WTRMLN WTR and Palmer's - I am truly grateful for your support.

Please click through the photos above to get a glimpse of the time that we had and check out the video below of us crossing the stage in front of the judges.  Thank you to everyone who sent me their photos and to Antonia for all of the beautiful pictures.  It is appreciated!

Help Bring Wukkout!® to the West Indian Day Parade in Brooklyn!

Labor Day is just around the corner and that means the West Indian American Day Parade on Eastern Parkway is coming!  I'm especially excited about it this year because Wukkout! has been invited to participate in the parade.  This is an incredible opportunity that could really help with exposing Wukkout! to a much larger audience.  Of course, participating in a parade of this magnitude also comes with significant costs.  To assist with those costs, I've started a GoFundMe campaign.  Donations will help with covering sound equipment fees, renting the truck for the day and insurance for the day. The campaign link can be found here and please, feel free to share and spread the word.

**If you'd like to jump up in the parade with Wukkout! and will be in NYC on Labor Day (Monday September 7th) a donation of $30 or more will get you a t-shirt and reserve your spot in our section.  Click the button below to register.**

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.  Thank you all again.  I am truly grateful for your continued support.

See you on the Parkway!
