Wukkout!® Pop Up: Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day Weekend is upon us and we're celebrating by holding a pop-up class at Bed-Stuy's hottest new boutique fitness studio, The Fit In.  Come tek a wine with us as we get you warmed up and ready to jump and wave on Eastern Parkway.  Class will be 1 hour long and refreshments will be served afterwards.  Pre-registration is required.  See all details and sign up below.  See you in class!

CarNYval & Friends: Pre-Labor Day Sweat Fete

It's going down, Friday August 24th, at Mark Morris Dance Center in Brooklyn.  Join Wukkout!® Founder, Krista Martins, alongside Wukkout!® Instructor, Allie, as they bring the Wukkout!® heat to CarNYval & Friends: Pre-Labor Day Sweat Fete.  The 3 hour class, hosted by Kiara of CarNYval Fit, will feature some of New York City's top soca and Afrobeat instructors, as we count down the days to the West Indian Day Parade.  Advanced ticket purchase is only available from our special #teamwukkout link.  See details and get your tickets below.

Soca on the Boardwalk with Wukkout!®

Summer is officially here and that means Wukkout!® is heading back to the Coney Island Boardwalk for another edition of "Soca on the Boardwalk."  Fitness classes will be lead by Wukkout!® and FitBK and are free and open to the public.  Additionally, there will be a Caribbean Carnival headpiece making workshop for the kids and a "Color Me Caribbean Dance Party" with a live DJ.  The entire event lasts from 6:30-8:30pm with the Wukkout!® class taking place at approximately 7pm.  Bring the whole family and join us as we celebrate all things summer and soca on the boardwalk.

RECAP: CaribBeing in Brooklyn with Wukkout!®

What a time we had!  On Saturday August 5th, we had the pleasure of hosting a class for Target First Saturdays at Brooklyn Museum, CaribBeing in Brooklyn.  The weather was glorious, the energy was electric and you all came ready to Wukkout!®

Soca Explosion Vol. 2 Featuring Wukkout!®

Join Wukkout!® Instructor Tyrone Monday August 28th for a Soca Explosion in Flatbush!  Carnival is just over a week away and there's no better way to get ready than with this 2 hour soca fitness fete featuring an incredible line-up of instructors.  The class is free and open to the public, no pre-registration necessary.  Details below.

Carnival by the Sea (Part II) with Wukkout!®

This Friday August 4th, there will be another free Wukkout!® outdoors in Coney Island's Luna Park.  In addition to the class, there will be a Caribbean Carnival headpiece making workshop for the kids, steelpan music, stilt walkers and a "Color Me Caribbean Dance Party" with a live DJ.  The entire event lasts from 6:30-9:00pm with the Wukkout!® class taking place at approximately 7pm and fireworks occurring around 9:30pm. Bring the whole family and join us as we celebrate 50 years of the New York Caribbean Carnival.  Details below.

Location: Luna Park in Coney Island (Wonder Wheel Way located near the Scream Zone - walk up Stillwell and make a left at the White Castle truck.  We will be on that side street).

As many of you know, Wukkout!® had the pleasure of participating in the 2016 New York Caribbean Carnival in Brooklyn.  I wanted to extend a massive thank you to each and every one of you who jumped up with us that day.  You all truly brought the bacchanal to the Parkway!
