Donate to Bring Wukkout!® to the West Indian American Day Parade

After a successful jump up last year, we have been presented once again with the opportunity to “march” in this year’s West Indian American Day Parade, happening in Brooklyn on Labor Day.  Over a million people will be in attendance and what better way to celebrate our hope for continued expansion than by bringing Wukkout!® back to the place of its birth, Carnival!

Participating in this parade will allow us to share Wukkout! with an audience much larger than normal; it is incredible exposure.  Of course, participating in a parade of this magnitude comes with significant costs.  Donations will assist us in covering the cost of renting sound equipment, building a float and insurance fees for the day among other parade expenses.

Any assistance at all will be incredibly helpful in making this day happen.  No amount is too small.  Click below to donate.

Recap: Wukkout!® at the 2015 West Indian American Day Parade!

I can't believe Labor Day has already come and gone so quickly; what a day!  For those of you who don't know, Wukkout!® had the pleasure of participating in this year's West Indian American Day Parade in Brooklyn.  A lot of preparation went into this event; I couldn't have done it without each and every one of you who donated to the GoFundMe campaign and who jumped up with me on the parade route.  YOU made this possible.  I'd also like to thank our sponsors, the Coney Island YMCA and VROU, your support is appreciated.  Last but not least, huge shout out to DJ G$Money for providing music for us on the road!  Click through the pictures above to see how the day unfolded and check the video below to see a clip of us on CBS News!

Still have Carnival fever?  I have just the event for you.  Check out Wukkout!® this Friday September 11th at 'Carnival by the Sea' in Coney Island's Luna Park for the 'Last Lap' of this Carnival season!

Help Bring Wukkout!® to the West Indian Day Parade in Brooklyn!

Labor Day is just around the corner and that means the West Indian American Day Parade on Eastern Parkway is coming!  I'm especially excited about it this year because Wukkout! has been invited to participate in the parade.  This is an incredible opportunity that could really help with exposing Wukkout! to a much larger audience.  Of course, participating in a parade of this magnitude also comes with significant costs.  To assist with those costs, I've started a GoFundMe campaign.  Donations will help with covering sound equipment fees, renting the truck for the day and insurance for the day. The campaign link can be found here and please, feel free to share and spread the word.

**If you'd like to jump up in the parade with Wukkout! and will be in NYC on Labor Day (Monday September 7th) a donation of $30 or more will get you a t-shirt and reserve your spot in our section.  Click the button below to register.**

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.  Thank you all again.  I am truly grateful for your continued support.

See you on the Parkway!
